  • This is an intimate event run by Boscastle people that has grown in popularity over the years

  • Welcoming new and returning walkers who take such pleasure in this beautiful part of north Cornwall

  • Organised walks specially selected to explore the beautiful countryside around the village of Boscastle

  • As spring arrives, you can enjoy a week of walking in Cornwall from the very best of Britain’s coastline to wonderful walks amid woods and streams, with local guides.

  • It’s all on offer during Boscastle’s increasingly popular Walking Week

  • Why not join one of the experienced and informed local guides on a ramble to waterfalls or steep climbs to Cornwall’s highest coastal cliff top

  • Or choose to meander along the country lanes and pathways that would have been familiar to the writer Thomas Hardy, taking the path through the woods and up the valley to St. Juliot’s Church.

  • See the Old Rectory where Hardy stayed and met his sweetheart Emma whilst he was an architect working on the church tower.

  • 2020 will see an extended range of walks and activities for you to pick and mix from.

  • As there is a mix of walks for all ages, abilities and interests, everyone can join in and discover more about this lovely part of the county on foot and in good company.

  • Boscastle is one of Cornwall’s most picturesque and un-spoilt villages

  • The harbour is reached by the long narrow valley runs down to a steep and rocky entrance to the sea beyond.

  • This area is steeped in history, associated with authors and artists who have been inspired by its remoteness and rugged beauty

  • Boscastle has been a working harbour, both for fishermen and stone workers over the years

  • There are many of the quaint old buildings which have been converted into pubs, restaurants and coffee shops

  • So you can be assured of spectacular walks along the dramatic coastline and inland with great food, good company, and expert guides to give you a taste of its vibrant history
